The role

This position provides the link between manufacturing, forecasting, purchasing and stores. You will be responsible for creating effective manufacturing plans, monitoring inventory and raising work orders for subassembly replenishment, while also having involvement in planning process improvement.

 

This organisation values proactive 'thinkers' who are down-to-earth and committed to manufacturing excellence and on-going improvement.  They seek an experienced   Planner who will be able to hit the ground running.  This is not a office-bound role, rather it will be hands on, working closely with the Production Team Leaders to execute, monitor and report on adherence to production schedules.

 

Skills and experience

You will come from a production planning / scheduling role within another complex manufacturing organisation. Superior computer skills are essential and you will be au fait with the use of MRP planning systems. You must be resilient, straight up and be able to work alongside and influence a wide range of people.
