With their headquarters based in Hamilton, New Zealand, they service a diverse range of industries across the globe and are very well respected for their expertise in the food and dairy industry.
The opportunity available requires your sales skills and machinery experience, to deliver a great customer experience, serving business customers through-out New Zealand and Australia.
The role
Based in Melbourne, you will be responsible for leading the sales activities; developing new business, optimizing existing business and growing the secondary packaging machines and associated equipment portfolio. Your initial territory will be Australia but this will be expanded to globally when appropriate. A secondary but equally important part of the role is to identify, develop and sell “system solutions” for customer’s production and processing needs.
There is an existing customer base to be managed, but ultimately you'll also win new customers to meet sales expectations. This role will offer you high levels of autonomy so you'll be able to build your sales strategy as you see fit to deliver outcomes.
What you'll bring
- Experience in the machinery or industrial component sales,
- At least 5 years technical sales experience, preferably within the food and beverage sector,
- A strong sales skill set across both new business and managing existing relationships,
- An eagerness, passion and hunger to deliver top sales results to a highly respected brand,
- A collaborative approach which will contribute to a team who work well together,
- Ablility to prioritise competing priorities at various levels with the customers organisation, from operators to senior management,
- Demonstrated ability to close sales.
