The role

Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead you’ll be responsible for all activities of design and installation of equipment in a liquid dairy/beverage environment, this role presents as a fantastic career development opportunity, with the chance to rotate through various departments. 

 

Key responsibilities

• Utilise your expertise in dairy / beverage processes, systems and equipment (5+ years preferable), including process design / specification and generation of P&ID’s
• Work with other team members to share information and participate in constructive design discussions.
• To take responsibility for assigned projects from planning and design through to commissioning
• Oversee the design work of others in the specialist technology area
• Communicate effectively with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure common understanding of the design, solve issues and or problems across these groups effectively.

 

Skills & experience

• Tertiary Qualified; Chemical, Process or mechanical engineering and/or trade qualification
• Minimum of 10 Years experience
• Experience in liquid food industry – Dairy & Prepared Foods
• Experience in process engineering & control
• Process design, implementation and commission
• Has solid experience with Autocad / Autocad light
• Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
• Commercially astute with strong knowledge of contracts
